3:00 – 5:00 pm NAMI Kansas Consumer Council meeting – Come early to get acquainted and for afternoon refreshments

5:30 – 7:00 pm NAMI Kansas Affiliate Leaders meeting – This will include dinner, served at 6:00 pm

7:00 – 9:00 pm Town Hall Forum on Public Policy Choices: Mental Health and the Law

Saturday, October 20th

8:00 am Breakfast for overnight guests

The schedule for Friday, October 19, 2007 will include meetings of the designated representatives to the NAMI Kansas Consumer Council and
a meeting of NAMI Kansas Affiliate Leaders.

A Town Hall Meeting will be convened on Friday evening to listen to various viewpoints
on a topic related to mental health treatment and the law.

Saturday's activities will run from 9:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m.

  • The registration fee includes lunch on Saturday and other refreshment breaks throughout the conference. To register for the conference, click here.

  • Conference registrants who will require lodging at the Cross Wind Conference Center should complete the lodging reservation information on the registration form and return to NAMI Kansas with additional payment for lodging and overnight meals. Lodging is subject to availability.

  • Dinner on Friday and breakfast on Saturday will be provided for the designated representatives to the NAMI Kansas Consumer Council and for designated Affiliate Leaders and scholarship recipients. .

  • Current NAMI Kansas members may request scholarship assistance to help defray the cost of attending the conference. Click here for the scholarship application.
